Whiteleaf Tramway
The Whiteleaf Tramway is presented by the Buckinghamshire Garden Railway Society. It is a small section of a much larger layout and demonstrates how G scale might look in an outdoor setting of a typical garden. This configuration shows how the range of G scale models can be used to represent an urban tramway and is particularly suitable where space is limited. The operation is analogue, partly because of the challenges of fitting decoders into tramcars, but also because busy, multi-vehicle operation is easier to achieve from switches on a control panel. However some of the trams are battery radio controlled, providing a further dimension to operating the service.
